New London has a rich local history, a lively downtown, a vibrant arts community, and wonderful restaurants. We are located just minutes from the US Coast Guard Academy, Connecticut College, Mitchell College, Beechwood Rehab, Cross Sound Ferry, and Union Station.

Our Story
As a long time resident of New London, I began to restore 48 Vauxhall in 1995. It has truly been a labor of love restoring this home to its former glory. I decided to open the residence to guest in 2017 to share the charms of this old New England seaport.

Our Area
New London boasts a mix of performing and visual arts, an extensive array of restaurants, and amazing historical architecture including some of the oldest homes in the state. Downtown New London is a quick walk or drive from our front door and hosts the Thames River Boardwalk. While visiting the waterfront park visitors can watch the local river traffic including Ferries, Navy submarines, historical tall ships, or any number of Coast Guard Vessels.
